Spring Breeze

Listen to the whisper of the breeze,
As it frolics playfully through the trees.
Toying with the branches and the leaves.
Join in my symphony, it seems to tease.

Enticing them to dance, and twirl around,
Moving gracefully they sway up and down.
Casting shadows, lacy patterns on the ground.
Adding visual beauty to the lovely sound.

But wait ... It seems to tire of its play ...
Now stealing subtly and silently away.
I wish there were a way to make it stay.
Alas, I must wait for... another day .
